Admission Requirements
NOUN Postgraduate courses can be flexible and easy to access, but every institution demands some certain level of requirements or qualification to get you admitted. For candidates who are interested in studying postgraduate courses at NOUN, below is a list of the requirements:
1. To be eligible for postgraduate courses in NOUN, candidates must have five credits in five subjects, which include mathematics and English, which are compulsory. There are some exceptions, as some courses allow a pass grade in mathematics.
2.For those interested in the Postgraduate Diploma program, candidates must have a passing grade in their bachelor’s degree in any field of study, and the certificate must be gotten from any recognized university across Nigeria. For those with an HND certificate, it is required that the candidate possess a lower credit to be eligible for admission.
3. For master postgraduate courses, candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree with at least second class lower. Candidates who possess postgraduate diplomas are also considered.
4. For the Doctor of Philosophy postgraduate program, interested candidates are expected to possess a master’s certificate in the relevant field of study that the candidate wants to study and meet the requirements of a minimum score average of 60% or a CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 scale.
